About Me

After a ten year stint as a professional baker I knew I needed something that challenged my unbridles curiosity and gave me the opportunity to use my problem solving skills. I went back to school and found a really cool degree in visual communications. After graduating with honors from Highline College with my AAS in Visual Communications I started work at Starbucks as a designer/ project specialist. After taking a role as a designer/ developer on the Starbucks e-learning team I went back to school for my Bachelors in Web and Internet Development at Arizona State University. This is where I learned about UX and how it can do so much good. Most recently I have finished my Human Centered Design in Engineering certification from the University of Washington

I believe that UX is a public service and love the fact that I work in a profession that gives me the opportunity to better a persons experience and make their life easier. I have a passion for people, I love talking to them, solving their problems and most importantly, bringing them joy. I am a professional noodler. I don't stop when I think of one solution, I keep pushing till I find the right solution.

When I am not delighting people I hike, play roller derby, play tabletop games, sing and read. I still bake, but only to gift and bring my family joy.
